Street dance tournaments are a volume problem before they are anything else. Hundreds of entries, dancers competing in four categories each, crews with changing line-ups, and a check-in queue that can eat the first hour of the day. marX moves all of it online: dancers and clubs register themselves, entries land directly in the start lists, and check-in happens before anyone reaches the building.
Start numbers are self-service — dancers print their own, so you are not running a print shop at the door. The timetable is live, with delays visible the moment they happen, which matters more here than almost anywhere else: when a dancer is in six categories spread across a ten-hour day, “when do I dance” is not a question a printed sheet can answer.
Judging is fully digital, with adjudicator panels configured per round, and results are published the instant they are final. The same live data drives the LED wall, the MC's screen and the phone in a dancer's pocket, so the warm-up room and the main hall are never looking at different information.

Frequently asked questions
- Can one dancer enter several categories?
- Yes — that is the normal case in street dance and marX is built for it. One dancer can hold entries across as many categories as your event runs, with a single check-in and one personal timetable covering all of them.
- Can we register crews with changing line-ups?
- Yes. Crews and formations register as teams and the line-up can be edited. Note that changing a team's composition after it has been paid for affects the fee, so the entry's payment status is updated to match.
- How does check-in work for a few hundred dancers?
- Check-in is online, so most of it is done before the doors open. You start the day knowing who is actually in the building rather than working it out from a queue.
- Do we have to print start numbers ourselves?
- No. Start number printing is self-service — dancers print their own from their entry. You can still print centrally if you prefer.
- Can the audience and the MC see results as they happen?
- Yes. Results publish the moment they are final — to the LED screen in the hall, the MC's view and every dancer's phone at the same time.
