Standard, Latin, ten dance, single-dance events, team matches — marX runs the whole day, from the first online entry to the last diploma.
Dancesport is the discipline marX grew up in, and it shows in the details. Couples enter online through marx.dance and land straight in your start list — no re-typing, no spreadsheet with three people editing it at once. Entries carry their class and age group with them, so categories fill correctly, and licence and eligibility checks happen at the point of entry rather than at the door.
On the day, the scrutineering side does the arithmetic. Marks, recalls and rankings are calculated as they are entered, in the formats real competitions actually need: Skating, S-AJS, AJS24, per-dance disqualifications, General Look and Show rounds. Adjudicator panels can differ from round to round, and an adjudicator can be replaced mid-round without unpicking the marks already given.
The WDSF work is built in rather than bolted on — results upload and star eligibility are handled directly and kept current with the rules. And when a couple arrives late and has to be added after the round has already started, or the heats need reshuffling mid-flow, marX absorbs it: every decision already made stays intact.

Frequently asked questions
- Does marX support the Skating system?
- Yes. Skating, S-AJS and AJS24 are all supported, along with per-dance disqualifications, General Look and Show rounds. Marks, recalls and final rankings are calculated as adjudicators enter them.
- Can it upload results to WDSF?
- Yes. WDSF results upload and star eligibility are integrated directly, so the official work happens inside marX instead of as a separate export-and-retype step.
- Can we run standard and Latin on two floors at the same time?
- Yes. marX supports parallel floors and multiple halls, with adjudicator sheets sent from anywhere in the venue and one shared timetable across all of them.
- What happens if a couple has to be added after a round has started?
- You can add them mid-round and keep every mark already given. The same applies to reshuffling heats or replacing an adjudicator — nothing already decided is lost.
- Does it work if the venue wifi fails?
- Yes. marX is offline-first by design: the mobile app is served locally and installs from a QR code, and the system keeps running without venue internet.
